Oliver's first pony ride at Avila Farms
My happy camper! He always sleeps so much better camping!
SLO Preparedness Expo was a hit with the kiddos!
To date, this is one of my favorite trips ever! So relaxing! Our little family camped for the weekend at Pismo Beach, while our friends Ciara, Chris, Suzanne, Thomas & Willis Silva, and David, Tracy & Kinsley Lewis stayed at a local hotel. So during the days we would hang out at their hotel, swimming in their pool, watching whales spout off all the time. It was bliss. Amazing food with friends and walks on the beach, playing in the sand dunes. At night we would hot tub with the sound of the waves in the background and fireworks overhead. Seriously, so relaxing! Can we please make this an annual thing?

Oliver's other mommas!
Oh my goodness. I adore these people! We were so spoiled to have Liesl Weasel come stay with us at the same time Jon & Sariah visited! We miss Ian though. We had a great time playing games and eating yummy food. On Saturday we did a girls day with Jason and my kiddos to hike at Tilden in Berkeley, walk around Mill Valley, and eat yummy Puerto Rican food. At night we went back to Berkeley for the Peace Lantern Festival which was so cool! Oh my goodness, I wish these friends still lived here!

Solar Eclipse as seen in Idaho
What a nightmare it was to get Oliver into Transitional Kindergarten this year! As we still lived in Dublin at the beginning of the school year, we were scheduled to send him to Frederickson Elementary, but then they switched all the TK kids to Murray Elementary where Oliver spent his first day of school ever. He came home crying and did not like it. However after the first day at Murray, we finally got a phone call from a very disorganized Livermore School District who offered Oliver a spot at either Lawrence or Junction. We chose Lawrence and Oliver has loved every second of it! Miss Morgan is his teacher, it's just down the street from our new home, and he has lots of great friends!
