Adventure: Cutting Down The Christmas Tree

Oliver's view point on the nativity.  Yoda and Cars want to worship too.

Every year I insist of going to some obscure farm to cut down our Christmas tree.  It is my favorite holiday tradition!  This year we chose a favorite farm in the Santa Cruz mountains, and it was gorgeous!  The tree we chose smells great and the farm was misty and beautiful.  The only setback was when my father decided he should fling cold tree water on me. Three times.

I love my boys...

Ollie loved riding the carousel at the Oakland Zoo.  He kept saying "Roar Tiger, Roar"

My Supermen

Ollie did this on his own.  Three hats is way better than one.

Sycamore Grove hike with Grandma Greco

We went on a nice evening hike with Grandma Greco to prep her for her boy scout hike coming up!  Although Ollie refused to stay in his stroller, we had a great time in my absolute favorite park!

Oliver's 2nd Birthday Party: Morris Style

Since my parents could not be here for Oliver's 2nd Birthday, they threw him a little shindig a few days early.  Ollie ate obscene amounts of tomato beef chow mein, his favorite meal, and opened presents and had dessert!  Thank you granny & papa!

Ardenwood's Fall Festival

Ollie loved riding on the "choo choo train"

We picked dozens of popcorn and indian corn.  Ollie loved every bit of playing in the cornfields, but he kept getting lost which was slightly terrifying!

And as you can tell, he loved picking out his pumpkin too!  It was a good day for Oliver Jay!

A Halloween Haircut

After
For Halloween my crazy husband shaved his crazy curly head of hair so that he could dress up as one of his coworkers.  He is crazy.

Adventure: Ardenwood with friends

Right before Halloween we hit up Ardenwood farms to feed goats with our friends Amy & Hudson.  The boys loved playing in the field of pumpkins!

A Little Bit Random...

This was my brother and sister in law on Halloween.  It is a little frightening how often my brother dresses up as a woman.  Just saying.

The cousins:  Ava, Lily & Oliver were having a blast a few Sunday's ago.  They would all climb on the fireplace step, then Ollie would count to 5 and all of them would scream and jump off together.  They did this at least a dozen times.  They thought it was the coolest game ever!

December Wishlist: What Jason Loves...

Since we just bought a new car (new to us), we need a new windshield sunshade.  How cool is this Star Wars one?
I love getting Jason work clothes for his Christmas or Birthday.   We have a family rule that every new clothing item Jason gets, I get to throw away one of his old, not nearly as attractive ones.  I like the rule a lot.  And I love this grey sweater, plaid button-up, or grey striped shirt for him.
He has also been asking for Whiskey Stones for awhile.  I don't get it as I never want ice in my drinks, but he is all into it!
We have a little obsession with Christmas Vacation.  Jason loves this "tenement on wheels" shirt, and the slightly more appropriate Griswold Family Christmas shirt.  And how great would he look dressing up like Uncle Eddie with this dickie and moose cup?
And since it is Christmas, you always need a comfy new pair of pajama pants for lounging.

December Wishlist: What Ollie Loves

Ollie is obsessed with the Cars movies right now!  He is constantly playing with his Cars toys at home, and always looks for these hard to find toys at the store, and they are so hard to find!
He also is starting to get into the airplanes movies.  It is adorable when he asks to see Chupacabra.  He actually pronounces it pretty good.
He also loves anything Star Wars and likes to sing "Yub Yub" over and over again, pretending he is an Ewok.
And of course like any two year old boy, he loves anything "Choo Choo Train" or any type of tractor!
Lastly, aren't these pajamas adorable?  I also love the baseball jersey, lumberjack shirt, and sweater.  So cute!

December Wishlist: What I Love

I love CCR.  I can't get enough of their music.  And for some reason I have never bought their CD.  Crazy Jamie.
I love these earrings.  I got them last year from Jason, and wore them out!  Almost all the jewels have fallen out because I wear them so much.  I need to get me a new pair.
Such a cool necklace that describes my personality to the tee.
And yet another awesome necklace.  I think I might be craving an adventure or something.
Ok, so I claim I hate chick flicks, and normally I crave stupid comedy or action, but for some reason I am addicted to these to girlie movies, a little bit of heaven and the vow, and can't seem to get sick of watching them.  I don't know why.
Isn't this such a cool peace sign?  The hippie in me wants a peace sign in every room of my house.  What a good reminder to turn the other cheek!

March Day Trip: Berkeley

In the morning Oliver did a wood project at Home Depot, then we headed off to Berkeley for a lovely day.  We bought bread, cheese and a...
