May: Camping in Mendocino

Oh my goodness.  This is one of the best camping trips I have ever been on!  Back in May my parents invited my little family to camp with them at MacKerricher State Park near Fort Bragg.  Our campsite was nice and secluded.  We befriended some abalone divers who brought us some abalone to try.  I had never tried it before, and holy crap it was delicious!  We also befriended  another neighbor who serenaded us with country camp songs on his guitar around our campfire.  We explored Fort Bragg, Mendocino, Van Damme State Park, took a ride on the skunk train, hiked the incredible trail around Lake Cleone, and had a great time on the coast with my family!  It was blissful!
